Hunter Metts is an artist, songwriter and producer from Franklin, Tennessee, where he was born on September 12, 1998. Growing up in a musical family, he began playing the piano at the age of ten, then went on to play guitar and write his own songs. His music is characterized by his soulful, emotional voice, heartfelt lyrics and acoustic guitar-driven melodies. He cites artists such as The Paper Kites, Bon Iver and Novo Amor as his musical inspirations. He has signed with BMG for publishing and continues to write and perform his own music, as well as writing and producing music for other artists. He has released several songs independently, including "Nothing to Lose" and "Paper Moon" in 2023, which showcase his ability to blend personal narrative with catchy melodies. He continues in 2024 with "Somehow You're Always There" and "Where It Ends", followed by the Monochrome EP. At the end of the year, his new single "Weathervane" reaches number 31 in the Norwegian charts.
