Hot Zex

Hot Zex is a Russian shoegaze band formed in Novosibirsk in 1991 by Vladimir Andreevich Komarov. The group released their debut album Sugarbabies in 1995 and followed up with Velvety/Dual in 1997. Hot Zex continued to release albums, including Delicious - First, Second & Dessert Tape (1992-1993) in 2000. The band's lineup changed several times with Komarov remaining as the only constant member. Hot Zex played rare gigs in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, with their most recent performance dating back to 2010. Despite never officially disbanding, the project is rumored to be on hiatus.
