Hot Natured

Hot Natured is a British-American electronic music group formed by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, who met while running the Hot Creations label; their early work included underground house tracks that gained traction in club circuits. The duo’s breakthrough came with the 2013 single “Reverse Skydiving”, featuring Anabel Englund, which entered the UK Singles Chart and established their presence on the international scene; this success was followed by the EP Benediction (2013), featuring Ali Love and Luca Cazal, and the single “Benediction”, which charted in the UK Singles Chart. In 2013, Hot Natured released their sole studio album Different Sides Of The Sun, which received a three-star review from NME and a four-star review from The Irish Times, and was supported by tours including performances at the 2013 CRSSD Festival in San Diego and the 2015 Coachella Music Festival. The group’s collaborations extended to remixes of Phoenix’s “Entertainment” and Alexis Raphael’s “Into The Light”; they also contributed to the track “Isis (Magic Carpet Ride)” with The Egyptian Lover. Hot Natured’s output remains influential in deep house and electronic music, with continued recognition for their distinctive sound and contributions to the genre.
