Homies, a South Korean hip hop trio composed of Chin, CK, and Louie, originated in Seoul. The group gained initial attention when they appeared on the YouTube hip hop audition program Superbee's Rap Academy in 2019, finishing in second place. Their debut EP, B.F.A.M, was released on November 15, 2019. In May 2020, Homies released their first studio album, Ghetto Kids, which was nominated for Underrated Album of the Year at the Korean Hip-hop Awards. They signed to Yng & Rich Records in December 2020, a label established by rapper Superbee. In February 2021, Homies won New Artist of the Year at the Korean Hip-hop Awards. Their single "Siren Remix", featuring Uneducated Kid and Paul Blanco, became their first entry on the Gaon Digital Chart, peaking at Number 18. In December 2021, they released their second studio album, Generation, and won Best Music Style at the Melon Music Awards. January 2022 saw them win Discovery of the Year at the Gaon Chart Music Awards. Throughout their career, Homies have also been recognized with one Gaon Chart Music Award, one Melon Music Award, and two Korean Hip-hop Awards. Their 4th full album, CHAPTER III, released on August 28, 2025, entered Bug's Top 100 albums chart at rank 69 on the week of its release.
