Hiroto Komoto (born March 17, 1963 in Okayama Prefecture) is one of Japan's leading rock 'n' rollers and rare vocalists. On July 5, 2006, he released his first solo double A-side single , "Midsummer Straight/Tengoku Umare ". This unique work was a condensation of Koumoto's pure passion for music, in which he demonstrated his multi-instrumentalist ability, playing almost all the instruments himself. The worldview of the lyrics, which strike at the essence of the music in simple language, continues to move the souls of many people across generations. He has a deep knowledge of blues and SP records, and his innocent side is also a big part of his charm, as he loves insect collecting and special effects heroes. On stage, he overwhelms the audience with his booming voice, but in everyday life, he remains humble.
