Hereford

Hereford, a Uruguayan rock group formed in 1995 by Diego Martino (guitar and vocals), Guzmán Mendaro (lead guitar and backing vocals), Frank Lampariello (bass and vocals), and Rodrigo Trobo (drums). The band debuted at "La Base" in Montevideo in September 1995. Their first album, Cuatro Estómagos, was released independently in October 1996. In 1998, Hereford opened for Maná in Montevideo and performed at major events like Rock en ROU and Rock de Acá I. Their second album, El Verdugo de Tus Sueños, was released in 1999, featuring a collaboration with Juanse from Los Ratones Paranoicos on the track "Perder". In 2000, Hereford released Documentado, a live album recorded at Viejo Jack. Following this, they performed acoustic shows that led to the release of Documentado Electroacústico in November 2002, which included the hit "Lo más simple de las cosas"
