Heaters

Heaters is an American alternative rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. The core founders, Andrew Tamlyn and Nolan Krebs, moved to Grand Rapids to start the project, and the band originally formed in 2013 as a four-piece that also included Alex Falardeau and Joshua Korf. Initially known as Plantains, they released their first demos titled Union in October 2013 via Bandcamp. By February 2014, they had changed their name to Heaters. Their debut EP and album Solstice was released in October 2014. In 2015, Heaters signed to Beyond Beyond Is Beyond and released their full-length debut album Holy Water Pool. They embarked on their debut EU/UK tour from January to March 2016. Their second full-length release, Baptistina, was released in August 2016. In March 2017, co-frontman Andrew Tamlyn left the band and formed Fyrrh. Heaters revealed a new lineup retaining live member Ryan Hagan and adding Ben Taber as an additional guitarist and singer. Their third full-length album Matterhorn was released in October 2017 via Beyond Beyond Is Beyond. Their album Suspended Youth was released in November 2018.
