The German DJ duo HBz was founded in 2010 by producers Niklas Brusewitz and Nils Schedler. The two musicians both grew up in Celle, Lower Saxony, and began uploading their remixes to the internet as teenagers. With a club-ready dance tempo and upbeat pop melodies, HBz's music goes viral and enables Brusewitz and Schedler to build up a worldwide fan base that extends far beyond their home town. Their remixes of songs such as "Cotton Eye Joe", "Die Perfekte Welle" and "Griechischer Wein", which are particularly celebrated on YouTube, enable HBz to go on tour and play at national festivals. Already celebrated in Germany, HBz begin their international career in 2018 with "Light For Me", followed by "Best Nights", "Back", "Downtown", "Endless" and "Central Bass Boost" over the course of the year. The group's melodic EDM style is crystallized in singles such as "Waiting" (2020) and the highly successful track "Deine Augen", which was recorded in collaboration with Thovi. After a decade of singles that didn't appear on an album, HBz released their debut album Family in 2021.
