Hayden

Paul Hayden Desser, known professionally as Hayden, was born on February 12, 1971, in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, and is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He began his music career by entering his song "Take" into CFNY-FM's annual New Music Search competition in 1993. Hayden released his first independent cassette, In September, in 1994, followed by the album Everything I Long For in 1995, which led to a contract with Geffen Records' subsidiary Outpost Recordings. His album, The Closer I Get, was released in 1998. Hayden continued with albums such as Elk-Lake Serenade (2004), In Field & Town (2008), and The Place Where We Lived (2009). In 2013, he released his seventh studio album, Us Alone, on Arts & Crafts. Hayden released Are We Good in 2023, which received a Juno Award nomination for Adult Alternative Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2024.
