Haru Nemuri, born Haruna Kimishima on January 10, 1995, in Isogo Ward, Yokohama, Japan, is a Japanese singer-songwriter known for her unique blend of J-pop, rap, and experimental genres. At 17, she formed a duo band with a friend, marking the beginning of her musical journey. In October 2016, Haru Nemuri released her debut mini-album さよなら、ユースフォビア. In 2018, she released her first full album 春と修羅, which gained international attention. This led to performances in Taiwan and Europe, including shows at Primavera Sound 2019. Her subsequent releases include the mini-albums LOVETHEISM (2020) and INSAINT (2023), as well as albums like Shunka Ryougen (2022). Notable singles include "Bang" (2021) and "Old Fashioned" (2023). Haru Nemuri's music has been recognized for its poetic lyrics and experimental sound, earning her a dedicated international following.
