Harmony James

Harmony James, born in Victoria, Australia, is a singer-songwriter known for her diverse musical styles that include alternative country, folk, and pop. Her breakthrough came in 2006 when she won the country category of the International Songwriting Competition with "Tailwind". This led to her debut EP Harmony James in 2007 and her first studio album, Tailwind, released in 2009. In 2010, Harmony James was nominated for Best Female Artist and Best Album at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards. She continued to gain recognition with her second album Handfuls of Sky (2012), which included the Number One singles "Pride" and "Emmylou's Guitar". Her third studio album, Cautionary Tales, was released in 2014, followed by an independent album, Resignation, in 2019.
