Hallucination Company

Hallucination Company, a rock music theater project founded in 1977 by Ludwig "Wickerl" Adam in Vienna, Austria. The band gained prominence with their unique blend of modern rock performance theater and political commentary. Notable early members included Hans Hölzel (later known as Falco), who joined as a bassist in 1977 and remained until 1979, and Andy Baum, who was the guitarist and singer from 1982 to 1984. Their first international tour, featuring the show Halluzinationen, took place in 1978. The band released their debut album, Vision, in 1982, followed by A Special Night in 1989, Keine Angst vor Nix!!! in 1993, and Circus der Hallucinationen in 2012. Throughout the 1980s, they performed extensively across Europe but in 1998, Hallucination Company continued performing without the same political focus as before. The band notably performed at the Jazzclub Porgy & Bess in Vienna on February 18, 2023.
