Grupo Los de la O

Grupo Los de La O is an American Regional Mexican quartet formed in Las Vegas in 2017 by Sonora-born musicians Jesús Baca (accordion, lead vocals), Luis Carlos (drums), Eduardo (bass), and Ramiro (bajo quinto), shaping a norteño/corridos-forward sound grounded in Sonoran roots and U.S. hustle. They introduced themselves with early 2019 cuts and a first live set, Pura Manzanita (2019), then moved into the studio for Tras las Rejas (2020), where tracks like “French Inhale” widened their streaming footprint. Their 2021 full-length La Clase supplied fan favorites “El Fat Tony,” “La Oveja Negra,” and “Fuga Pa Cali 2,” while the same year brought a breakout collaboration with Iván Cornejo on the single “El de Houston.” Momentum carried into 2022 with the Ivan Cornejo duet “Mentiras” (included on Pura Manzanita, Vol. 3) and the joint single “Seguimos Más Fuertes” with LEGADO 7, consolidating their place inside the Regional Mexican scene. In that period they also surfaced on scene-building collaborations such as Código FN’s single “En la Ciudad.” A co-billed album with Abraham Vázquez, Parque de Diversiones (2023), underscored their collaborative reach, followed by Resiliencia (2024), a focused studio statement. Keeping a quick release pace, 2025 delivered Pura Manzanita, Vol. 4 (2025) and a run of singles including “El Pinky,” “Pongámonos de Acuerdo,” and “31 Hats,” extending a catalog that bridged barroom norteño grit and contemporary corridos polish.
