Emerging from Três Corações, Minas Gerais, in 2017, Grupo Envolvência has rapidly become a prominent name in the Brazilian pagode scene. Comprised of Marquinhos (vocals and pandeiro), Wender (vocals and banjo), Chocolate (cavaquinho and banjo), Fabinho (tan-tan), Vitinho (repique de mão), Mumuh (general percussion), Liniker (reco-reco), and Santiago (surdo and percussion), the group draws inspiration from renowned acts like Turma do Pagode. Their energetic performances and unique blend of traditional pagode with contemporary influences have garnered them a dedicated following. In 2023, they released the single "Mô," showcasing their evolving musical style. The following year, their track "Quando a Cachaça Não Mata, Humilha" surpassed 2 million plays, solidifying their status in the genre. Additionally, their collaboration with Turma do Pagode on "Grude" further expanded their reach. By 2024, Grupo Envolvência had amassed over 2 million social media followers and recorded more than 87 songs, including both covers and original compositions. Their discography features projects like Nostalgia – Vol. 3, which includes collaborations with artists such as Ademir Fogaça, Deck 90, Pezinho, Lito Nuwance, and Rosyl. Continuing their momentum, they recorded the DVD Metamorfose in São Paulo, featuring guest appearances by Ferrugem, Ana Clara, Vitor Limma, Kamisa 10, and Gaab. Grupo Envolvência's commitment to their craft and their ability to resonate with audiences have firmly established them as a dynamic force in contemporary pagode. In 2025, the group released the live EP Na Voz dos Criadores Vol. 1, followed by a second volumen later that year.
