Gregory Charles

Gregory Charles, born Gregory Nigel Charles on February 12, 1968, in Montreal, Quebec, is a Canadian singer, pianist, and actor. He demonstrated an early passion for music, winning several competitions by age seven and performing with symphony orchestras across Canada by 1975. In the late 1980s, Charles joined the cast of Chambres en ville, a popular TV drama. In 2001, his first one-man show, "Noir & Blanc", premiered and became a success. The accompanying album, Gospel Live en Noir & Blanc, was released the same year. Throughout his career, Gregory Charles has been recognized with numerous awards, including five Félix Awards, one Artis Award, six Gémeaux Awards, and was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2016. Other albums include I Think of You (2006), Loin de la Lumière (2007), Quand J'ai Dit (2011), Noël en Noir & Blanc (2017), LEN (2019), and Piano Renaissance - Appassionato (2024).
