Goldroom

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Josh Legg left his psychology studies in Los Angeles to take up electronic music. He began by forming the group NightWaves with a classmate, and with him set up the label Binary Entertainement in 2007. In 2011, he went solo and took the pseudonym Goldroom for the release of his debut EP Angeles, followed two years later by the EP Embrace, featuring vocalists Say Lou Lou and Chela. Called upon for remixes by Penguin Prison, St. Lucia, MS MR, Charli XCX, The Knocks, MO, Architectures of Helsinki or Chvrches, the young musician and singer nonetheless continued to release single after single: "Fifteen", "Only You Can Show Me", "Til Sunrise" and "Waiting to Ignite" preceded the album West of the West (2016), which included the standard-bearer "Silhouette". That same year, Janet Jackson called on his services to remix her single "No Sleep".
