Emerging from South London in 2016, Goat Girl are a fearless beacon of post-punk defiance. The band quickly made waves with their raw, unapologetic sound and incisive lyrics that cut through societal norms like a serrated knife. Their music is a visceral blend of punk aggression, garage rock swagger, and poetic introspection. Fronted by the charismatic Lottie "Clottie Cream" Pendlebury on vocals and guitar, Goat Girl's lineup also features Ellie "L.E.D." Rose on guitar, Naima "Jelly" Bock on bass, and Rosy "Bones" Bones (they/them) on drums. Together, they create a sound that oscillates between eerie calm and explosive fury, crafting songs that are as haunting as they are empowering. Released on Rough Trade, their debut self-titled album of 2018 garnered critical acclaim and established them as a powerful new voice in post-punk. They welcomed additional member, bassist Holly "Hole" Mullineaux in 2019, replacing Naima Jelly while working with hotshot producer Dan Carey for their second studio album On All Fours. Also released via Rough Trade Records, third LP Below the Waste (2024) was co–produced by the band with John Spud Murphy (Lankum and black midi). Shortly before they began recording the album, guitarist Ellie Rose Davies decided to leave due to health issues.
