Glenn Roger Lyse, born on April 4, 1974, in Stavanger, Norway, is a singer known for his contributions to pop rock and Scandinavian pop rock. Before gaining widespread recognition, Lyse had an established musical career, performing solo and with various bands, notably the trio Nash and the band Jam Pack alongside Christer Knutsen. In 2003, he participated in the TV show Stjerner i Sikte. His breakthrough moment came when he won season 4 of the reality television show Idol on December 21, 2007. Following his victory, Lyse signed a record deal with Sony BMG and released his winning song "Days Go By," followed by the single "Guilty" in 2008.
