Glengarry Bhoys

The Glengarry Bhoys, a Celtic fusion band, was formed in 1998. Initially known as the Graham Wright Band, they changed their name to reflect their heritage and local roots in Glengarry, Ontario, Canada. The original lineup included Graham Wright on lead vocals, guitars, and tin whistle; Gaye Stuart "Ziggy" Leroux on vocals, drums, percussion, and bodhran; Ewen McIntosh on bass and vocals; and Derek MacGregor on highland pipes, shuttle pipes, and tin whistle. The Glengarry Bhoys released their debut album Home Again in 1999, followed by Full Contact Highlanding (1999) and The Gathering (1999). The band's early years saw several lineup changes, with Ewan Brown replacing James Libbey as the piper in 2005. In October 2007, Graham Wright faced serious medical issues that led to a temporary disbandment of the group. However, they returned to touring in March 2008. Later releases included Eight (2010) and Glengarry Bhoys Compilation (2011).
