Gonçalo Jorge Amado da Veiga, known professionally as G-Amado, was born on April 11, 1985, in Lisbon, Portugal, to Cape Verdean immigrants. He is a singer specializing in Ghetto-Zouk and rhythm and blues. G-Amado began his music career in 2011 with the release of his debut single "Bo Ca Ta Amam." His first album, Nhas Letras, was released in 2012, followed by his second album, Capítulos, in 2014. Notable singles include "Nha Vida" (2013), "Casamento" (2015), and collaborations such as "Ela Me Kuia" (feat. Daduh King, 2015) and "Alguen Ki Un Gosta" (with Mika Mendes, 2012). He made guest appearances in the Portuguese TVI telenovela A Única Mulher, contributing songs such as "Estrela Guia" and, in 2016, "Louca" (featuring Edmundo Vieira). G-Amado released his third album, Além do Amor, in September 2016, and his fourth album, O Teu Moço, in 2019.
