Fuyumi Abe

Fuyumi Abe, born 阿部芙蓉美 on 20 February 1983 in Japan, began her musical journey as a singer-songwriter known for her vocal and guitar work. Her breakthrough recording period began with her 2007 Mini Album under 3rd Stone Records which contributed to her presence in the J-pop scene. In 2008 she released the album Blues with For Life Music, followed by the 2011 EP 町 that broadened her audience. The 2013 album How To Live marked a stylistic maturation, while the 2014 EP ABEFUYUMI EP showcased her evolving songwriting. In February 2024 the track “Some True Love”was released ahead of her full-length album Super Legend, reaffirming her relevance in contemporary pop. Throughout her career, Fuyumi Abe has released multiple albums and EPs, receiving recognition for her contributions to Japanese pop and folk music, solidifying her role as a respected figure in modern Japanese music.
