Funky Green Dogs, a house-music production team composed of Ralph Falcón and Oscar Gaetan, formed in Miami in 1991. The duo initially gained recognition with their early singles and EPs, which laid the groundwork for their future success. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Fired Up!", which peaked at number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1996. This track was part of their debut album Get Fired Up. The following year, they released another notable single, "The Way". Funky Green Dogs continued to produce music throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, releasing albums such as Star in 1999 and Super California in 2002. In addition to their work under the Funky Green Dogs moniker, Falcón and Gaetan were also known for their production work as Murk, releasing several notable tracks and remixes for artists like Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, and Britney Spears. They continued to create music both together and as solo artists, establishing themselves as skilled DJs in demand at clubs worldwide.
