Foxy Shazam, an American alternative rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, was formed in 2004 by lead vocalist Eric Nally. The group initially started as a nu-metal band called Train of Thought before renaming to Foxy Shazam and releasing their debut album The Flamingo Trigger independently in June 2005. After signing with Ferret Music, they released their second album Introducing on January 22, 2008. The following year, the band signed with Sire Records and released their self-titled major-label debut, which included notable singles such as "Wanna-Be Angel", "Unstoppable" and "Oh Lord". In 2012, they released The Church of Rock and Roll under I.R.S. Records. Their fifth album, Gonzo, was released in April 2014 before the band announced their disbandment later that year. Foxy Shazam reunited in 2020 with Nally, Schuyler White (keyboards), Teddy Atkins (drums), Alex Nauth (horns), Trigger Warning (bass), and Devin Williams (guitar). The album Burn was released on December 11, 2020, followed by The Heart Behead You on February 14, 2022 and Dark Blue Night on March 17, 2023. Their ninth studio album, Animality Opera, was released on March 20, 2025, followed by Box of Magic on October 6, 2025.
