Florian Noack

Florian Noack is a Belgian classical pianist born on January 15, 1990, in Auderghem, Belgium. Noack started piano lessons at age four with Yuka Izutsu and Michel Wiggers. At eleven, Noack joined the Chapelle musicale Reine Élisabeth in Brussels, studying under notable pianists including Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Brigitte Engerer, Dmitri Baschkirow, and Vitaly Margulis. Noack's education continued at the Musikhochschule Köln with Vassily Lobanov and later at the Musikhochschule Basel with Claudio Martínez Mehner. A breakthrough came with wins at the Internationalen Rachmaninow-Klavierwettbewerb für junge Pianisten in 2011 and the Internationalen Robert Schumann-Wettbewerb für Klavier und Gesang in 2012. Noack won the Echo Klassik award as Junger Künstler des Jahres in 2015.
