Flash Finger, born Kim Junghwan on December 4, 1976, in Seoul, is a South Korean DJ, composer, and music producer recognized for his innovative work in electronic music and rhythm games. Known for his unique electronic sound, he works under Discovery Music and has a diverse background as a DJ, guitarist, and vocalist. Formerly associated with Pentavision, he contributed to popular Korean rhythm games, such as DJMAX TECHNIKA 2 and DJMAX RESPECT V, using the alias "Mr.Funky." Notable tracks include remixes like "Supersonic ~Mr.Funky Remix~" and originals such as "Arcade Love," which was created in collaboration with KNVWN under his production team, Newton. In addition to gaming music, Flash Finger's impact extends to collaborative projects in the Korean music scene, including work with Swing Bros, Bitburger, and the Risque Rhythm Machine (RRM), where he contributed to Yoon Do-hyun Band’s single "YB vs. RRM." His duo Newton, formed in 2013, has produced acclaimed electronic music, supported by crowdfunding platforms like Tumblbug. Flash Finger's expansive discography spans various media, from DJMAX Portable 3 system sounds to international club hits.
