Fiona Joy Hawkins

Fiona Joy Hawkins, born in Cessnock, New South Wales, Australia, is a composer and pianist who began studying piano at a young age. Her first album, Portrait of a Waterfall, charted at No. 1 on the New Age Reporter (NAR) World Charts in 2005. Hawkins collaborated with Will Ackerman on multiple albums, including Blue Dream (released in 2008), which earned several Zone Music Reporter awards and was a finalist for an ARIA Music Award. Her song “Grace” appeared on the compilation album Winds of Samsara, which won the Grammy Award for Best New Age Album. Hawkins has been recognized internationally, earning the title “piano princess” from Zhou Tiebing of the Xiangyang Government Network in 2015. She formed the group FLOW with Lawrence Blatt, Jeff Oster, and Will Ackerman in 2017, debuting at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
