Finn Forster

British singer-songwriter and guitarist Finn Forster hails from Middlesbrough in north-east England. Born into a musical family, he grew up listening to Irish folk covers performed by his mother and other members of The Shea Family Band. In a style blending indie pop-rock and acoustic folk, he wrote his first songs before being noticed by the BBC in its Introducing One to Watch selection and winning the Drake YolanDa Award. He opened for Bastille, The Reytons, The Lottery Winners and Rag'n'Bone Man, then collaborated with EMI North affiliate Interval Records, where he was the first artist signed. He recorded successive EPs, including the acoustic Lockdown B-Sides (2020), Songs from Haddon St (2022), Grey Skies (2024) and Embers (2025), from which the chart-topping "Broken Game" (#10 on the Top 40 Vinyl Singles) was taken.
