A Parisian quintet formed in 2011 by former students of the Lycée Louis-le-Grand, Feu! Chatterton comprises singer and lyricist Arthur Teboul, Clément Doumic and Sébastien Wolf (guitars, keyboards), Antoine Wilson (bass) and Raphël de Pressigny (drums). After a first track appeared in 2012, "La Mort dans la pinède", the band named after English poet Thomas Chatterton showcased their literary rock at festivals and won three awards in 2014: the Prix Chorus, the Prix Paris Jeunes Talents and the Prix Félix-Leclerc. He released two self-produced EPs, including a single title, Bic Medium (2015), before signing with the Barclay label for his critically acclaimed debut album, Ici le Jour (A Tout Enseveli). Nominated at the 2016 Victoires de la musique awards, Feu! Chatterton is now focusing on the stage, collaborating with writer Éric Reinhardt, Bernard Lavilliers and contemporary artist Sophie Calle. Feu! Chatterton's French-language rock, tinged with electronic music, is featured on the albums L'Oiseleur (2018), nominated the following year at the Victoires de la musique awards, and Palais d'Argile (2021), produced by Arnaud Rebotini. After composing the soundtracks for the films La Grande magie (2023) and Un homme en fuite (2024), as well as covers of Nino Ferrer ("Le Sud") and Léo Ferré ("L'Affiche rouge"), in 2025 the band released the singles "Allons voir" and "Mille vagues", the first singles from the album Labyrinthe, which reached number 2 in the SNEP charts.
