Born in Goiânia on July 2, 1995, into a musical family that included his late brother Cristiano Araújo, Felipe Araújo began performing in a rock band at age 12 before shifting into sertanejo in his teens. He launched his solo career in 2015 with the Com Você EP—featuring the tribute single “Com Você”—followed by his first live DVD 1, Dois, 3 (2017), which included hit singles “A Mala é Falsa” and “Chave Cópia” featuring Jorge & Mateus. He consolidated his national fame with 2018’s Por Inteiro, anchored by chart-toppers “Atrasadinha” (with Ferrugem) and “Se Pegar Cê Chora,” and continued delivering consistent output via live projects like Felipe Araújo in Brasília (2019) and Clube do Araújo (2021), as well as standout collaborations across genres—“Mentira” (2019), gospel-tinged tracks like “Pode Acreditar” (with Gabriela Gomes), pagode duets “7x1” (with Sorriso Maroto) and “Credo! Que Delícia!” (with Pixote), and romantic features alongside Luan Santana (“Última Noite,” 2023) and Luan Pereira (“Body Splash,” 2024). His prolific streak continued into 2025 with new singles such as “Beba” (with Rafael Quadros), and in mid-2024 he curated a nostalgic project, Spoiler. 2025 saw the release of the live album Carta Aberta, featuring contributions from Gustavo Mioto, Luan Pereira, Matheus Fernandes, and Nattan.
