Fabri Fibra

Fabrizio Tarducci was born on October 17, 1976 in Senigallia, in the province of Ancona, Italy. He started out in rap in the mid-1990s under the name Fabbri Fil, as a member of various collectives such as Uomini di Mare, Qustodi del tempo, Teste Mobili and Piante Grasse. He made his solo debut in 2002 with his album Turbe Giovanili (n° 42), which he released under the name Fabri Fibra, from then on his artistic pseudonym. Buoyed by the success of his first opus, two years later he signed a new effort called Mr. Simpatia (no. 19), which led to a deal with major label Universal, with whom he released a third album, Tradimento, in 2006. Faced with criticism from a public of purists who accused him of betraying independent hip-hop to join a popular label, the Italian rapper responded with a song, "Vaffanculo scemo". Within a week, the album tops the local charts. He released a fourth album, Bugiardo (No. 6), in 2007, followed by the Chi Vuole Essere Fabri Fibra? box set in 2010 (No. 7), and finally the album Controcultura (No. 1). In 2013, his new album Guerra e Pace again reached number one and was certified gold, selling over 30,000 copies. In 2015 and 2017, he released two new albums entitled Squailor (No. 2) and Fenomeno (No. 1). After treating his fans to the single "Yoshi" (no. 1) with Dani Faiv e Tha Supreme in 2019, he followed this up shortly afterwards with "Come Mai" (no. 10), which recorded the participation of Franco126. In 2022, Fabri Fibra released the album Caos, which topped the local charts. The title track, chosen as a single, reaches number two in the Italian charts. After collaborations with Deda and then Ernia and Bresh, "In Italia 2024" is released with Baby Gang and Emma (no. 16), followed in 2025 by "Zelensky" with DJ Amadeus, Chef P and James Logan, then the album Mentre Los Angeles brucia (no. 1), including the hit "Che gusto c'è" with Tredici Pietro (no. 6) and further collaborations with Francesco Guccini, Gaia and Massimo Pericolo, Joan Thiele, Noyz Narcos, Ernia, Papa V and Nerissima Serpe.
