Evans Blue

Evans Blue, a Canadian alternative metal band from Toronto, was formed in 2005 when five musicians met through a local message board. Their debut album, The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume, was released in 2006, debuting at Number 1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. The band's second album, The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal of Life Ends, came out in 2007, earning a Juno Award nomination for New Group of the Year. In 2009, Dan Chandler replaced Kevin Matisyn as lead singer, and their self-titled album was released through Sounds+Sights Entertainment. The band's album, Graveyard of Empires, was released in 2012. After a hiatus of several years, Evans Blue announced their comeback in 2024 for "Welcome to Rockville 2025". The performance took place on May 15, 2025.
