Evan Yo

Evan Cai, known professionally as Evan Yo, was born on 12 November 1986 in Taiwan and began his musical journey as a violin major at National Taiwan Normal University. Signing with Sony Music Taiwan at age 14, he released his debut studio album 19 on 6 October 2006, which introduced tracks such as "Can You Hear Me" and "I Can". The following year, he followed up with 搜尋蔡旻佑 on 11 July 2008, featuring singles "我回來了" and "Stay With Me", and in 2009 released 寂寞，好了 on 9 October, which included the popular "簡單" and "熱氣球". After a brief stint with Universal Music in 2012, he returned to Sony with 和我的布拉姆斯 on 18 December 2015, showcasing songs like "我想要說" and "愛是對的". In 2019 he released 變心記 on 23 August, containing the chart‑successful "我可以". Evan Yo’s work earned a nomination for Best New Artist at the 18th Golden Melody Awards in 2007, and his tracks have appeared in television soundtracks such as the ending theme for the drama 別對我動心. He released "你靠近我的身邊" in 2024 and "Easier Than Saying It" in 2025, continuing his presence in the Mandopop scene.
