Etta Marcus

Etta Marcus, born on January 26, 2001 in Brixton, South London, is an English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began playing piano at age eight and guitar at ten, later studying jazz at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance before focusing on her own music. Marcus released her debut single "Hide & Seek" in October 2021, followed by a collaboration with Matt Maltese on "Salt Lake City", both of which were included in her first EP View from the Bridge (January 2022). After signing to Polydor Records, she released the EP Heart-Shaped Bruise (November 2022), featuring the single "Crown". In 2023, Marcus opened for Lana Del Rey in London and released her debut album The Death of Summer & Other Promises (January 2024). In October 2025, she released the EP Devour.
