Etron Fou Leloublan were a French avantârock group formed in 1973 by actorâsaxophonist Chrisâ¯Chanet, bassist Ferdinandâ¯Richard, and drummer Guigouâ¯Chenevier. They released the studio album Batelages in 1977. With saxophonist Francisâ¯Grand, they issued Lesâ¯Troisâ¯Fousâ¯Perdégagnent (1978) and played the 1978 Rock in Opposition festival in London and the 1979 Milan event. A US tour produced the live album Enâ¯Publicâ¯auxâ¯ÃtatsâUnisâ¯dâAmérique (1979). In 1982, Fredâ¯Frith produced Lesâ¯Poumonsâ¯Gonflés, followed by Lesâ¯Sillonsâ¯deâ¯laâ¯Terre (1984) and Faceâ¯Auxâ¯Ãlémentsâ¯Déchaînés (1985). The group disbanded in 1986; compilations 43 Songs (1991) and the Prague live recording Etronâ¯Fouâ¯Leloublanâ¯Ã â¯Prague (2010) were released.
