ENZSO, an orchestral project originating from New Zealand in 1995, was initiated by former Split Enz keyboardist Eddie Rayner. The group combined the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra with contemporary pop singers to perform Split Enz songs. ENZSO's debut album, ENZSO, was released on November 5, 1996, featuring collaborations with notable artists such as Dave Dobbyn, Annie Crummer, Sam Hunt, Neil Finn, Tim Finn, and the New Zealand Youth Choir. The project continued with a second album, ENZSO 2, released on February 16, 1999. A documentary film titled ENZSO: Dirty Creature was also produced by director Justin Pemberton, capturing the collaborative efforts of ENZSO.
