ENUR, a Danish electronic music duo consisting of Rune Reilly Kölsch and Johannes Torpe, formed in 2000. Initially, Kölsch used the alias Artificial Funk in the 1990s before joining forces with his half-brother Torpe to create the duo. They gained initial recognition when they were signed to Skint Records in 2002. Under the name Artificial Funk, they released the track "Together" in 2003, which was nominated for DJ Mag's Top 10 Tracks of the Year and reached number 67 on the Dutch Singles Chart. In 2007, under the name ENUR, Rune Reilly Kölsch and Johannes Torpe achieved significant success with "Calabria 2007", featuring reggae vocalist Natasja Saad. The song peaked at number 9 in France and became a hit in several other countries, including Belgium, Canada, and Portugal. It also charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 29 on the European Hot 100 singles chart. ENUR released their album Raggatronic on September 9, 2008, which featured guest artists such as Nicki Minaj, Beenie Man, and Natasja Saad. The duo founded several labels, including ArtiFarti Records in 2005, Tattoorec.com in 2006, and Nightology Records in 2008. They won five DJ awards plus a Danish Grammy Award. ENUR were active until 2012.
