Enjin a Japanese boy band formed on 15â¯Juneâ¯2020, consists of eight former Produceâ¯101 Japan contestants, including A.rik, Ryono, Hyuga, Toy, Sol, Kyo, and former members Fumiyaâ¯Kumazawa and Tsubasaâ¯Taiga. The group debuted with the doubleâAâside single "Say Your Name" / "Enjin" on 10â¯Februaryâ¯2021 under Universalâ¯Musicâ¯Japan, marking their entry into the Jâpop market. In Augustâ¯2021 they released the EP "Peace Summer / Treasure", followed by"Far away" in Januaryâ¯2022, which expanded their discography and solidified their presence in the domestic charts. Their first fullâlength album O was issued on 7â¯Septemberâ¯2022, receiving moderate commercial success and critical attention for its blend of pop and contemporary R&B influences. Subsequent singles "Merry Go Round" (27â¯Marchâ¯2023) and "Dreamland" (13â¯Septemberâ¯2023) continued to chart within the top 50 of the Oricon singles chart. The group announced the release of their second album Inception on 12â¯Juneâ¯2024, further establishing their musical identity. Throughout their career, Enjin achieved notable milestones such as multiple appearances on national television programs and participation in collaborative projects with other artists from the Produce franchise, contributing to the broader Japanese pop culture landscape. They released their first EP, SNOVE, on December 17, 2025.
