Eline Thorp Steffensen, born on September 6, 1993, in Hamarøy, Nordland, Norway, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. She gained national attention in 2011 when she was featured as This Week's Urørt. That same year, she performed at notable festivals such as by:Larm, Hove Festival, Slottsfjell Festival, and the Bukta Festival. In 2013, Thorp released her first single "The Game" along with a corresponding music video. Her debut album Mirror's Edge was released in 2014 under Beyond Records and received positive reviews, including a 5 out of 6 rating from VGâs reviewer Stein Ãstbø. In January 28, 2023, Thorp participated in the third semi-final of Melodi Grand Prix 2023 with the song "Not Meant To Be", advancing to the final round on February 4 and placing sixth.
