Elder

Elder, a metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, was formed in 2006 by guitarist and leader Nick DiSalvo, bassist Jack Donovan, guitarist/keyboardist Michael Risberg, and drummer Georg Edert. Elder released their first album, Double EP, in 2006 as a split with Queen Elephantine. Their debut studio album, Elder, followed in 2008, showcasing elements of doom metal and stoner rock. The band's subsequent albums included Dead Roots Stirring (2011), Lore (2015), Reflections of a Floating World (2017), and Omens (2020). Elder performed at the Roadburn Festival in 2013 and shared the 2021 album Eldovar: A Story of Darkness & Light with Kadavar. After the release of Innate Passage in 2022, the band returned in 2026 with Through Zero.
