Starting from nothing, as his 2007 debut album proudly indicates, El Matador arrives at Au Clair du Bitume, released in May 2009. Along with L'Algérino and others, Mohamed Bendjebar aka El Matador (b. 1982) represents the younger generation of Marseille rap, and is signed by Bombattak Recordz. His track " Génération Wesh Wesh" was then used to open the soundtrack to the film Taxi 4. Following Poussière d'Étoiles in 2013, the double album XIII NRV released two years later welcomes a host of fellow artists.
