Ejel (이젤), born Jang Eun-jeong (장은정) on August 2, 2000, in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and musician under MNH Entertainment. She first gained public attention through appearances on multiple music survival shows, including Folk Us (Top 8 semi-finalist), Show Queen (Top 16 semi-finalist), and Sing Again 3, where she earned widespread recognition and finished in third place. Her emotive performances and raw vocal tone helped establish her as a rising talent in Korea’s acoustic and folk-pop scene. Ejel originally performed under the stage name Augusteng (어거스탱) before rebranding to Ejel ahead of her official solo debut. On October 31, 2024, she released her first digital single, "A N E W", a soulful acoustic ballad that marked her arrival as a solo artist. In March 2025, she followed it up with "Anti-Spring", a pop rock track showcasing her evolving sound and versatility. Ejel is known for her warm, introspective songwriting and delicate yet powerful voice. She plays the guitar and draws inspiration from a blend of folk, pop rock, acoustic, ballad, R&B, and soul genres.
