Eisaku Yoshida, born January 3, 1969 in Hadano, Kanagawa, is a Japanese actor and singer. He began his entertainment career after winning the Nice Guy Contest in Japan, which led to his film debut in Glass no Naka no Shōjo (1988). Soon after, he signed with Watanabe Productions and made his music debut in 1989 with "Dōnika Narusa ~~Chasing My Dream~~". Yoshida quickly rose to stardom, becoming a key figure in early 1990s trendy dramas and earning comparisons alongside fellow actors Kase Taishu and Yuji Oda as part of the Heisei Big Three. His music career was equally notable, with appearances at NHK's Kōhaku Uta Gassen in 1990 and 1991, singing "Kokoro no Tabi"(1990) and "Moshimo Kimi Janakya"(1991), respectively. In 1995, Yoshida paused his career and moved to the U.S. to pursue acting in Hollywood and improve his English. He returned in 1998 and resumed his career in Japanese TV, film, and theater. He also reactivated his music career, releasing the 20th anniversary single "Kokoro no Tabi" in 2009. In 2015, he recorded "With You Arigatō" to commemorate Hadano City’s 60th anniversary. Among his notable works is the song "Faith"(2025), showcasing his continued presence as both a respected actor and musician.
