Edgardo Núñez is a Phoenix-based, Sinaloa-bred Regional Mexican singer and accordionist who began issuing music independently in 2021 with the albums Me Metí a la Mafia and Nuestros Secretos, establishing a corridos-forward sound he would later expand in the “602” series. In 2022 he consolidated momentum with Corridos 602 Vol.2 and a run of singles including “Yo Soy el Pirata” and “Ciudad Peligrosa” with Junior H, then stepped into larger-band territory on the live set Edgardo Nuñez Con la Séptima Banda. The following year brought two full-lengths—No Ando Solo and Bailemos Bebé—and a high-profile appearance on Peso Pluma’s album Génesis via the track “VVS,” recorded with Los Dareyes de la Sierra. Later in 2023, Edgardo Núñez teamed with Óscar Ortiz on the single “First Love,” which went on to reach Number 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart in mid-2024. He continued his collaborative streak in 2024 with Banda Los Sebastianes on “El Humo de Mi Gallo,” another major radio success, and issued the live compilation Puros Éxitos Con Banda in December. In 2025, Edgardo Núñez broadened his footprint with the live album PISTEANDO DESDE LOS ANGELES, the Desde Houston (En Vivo) – EP, and a string of singles including “El de la Selva” with Luis R Conriquez and “Hello Kitty” with Enigma Norteño.
