Eagulls

Eagulls was an English rock band from Leeds, England, formed in 2009 by Mark "Goldy" Goldsworthy and Henry Ruddel. Their lineup initially consisted of five members: Goldsworthy on guitar, Ruddel on drums, George Mitchell as lead vocalist, Tom Kelly on bass, and Liam Matthews on guitar. Their early breakthrough came with the release of the first single "Council Flat Blues" (2011). In 2014, Eagulls released the self-titled debut album Eagulls (2014) through Partisan Records, which reached Number 86 on the UK Albums Chart. Notable songs from this period include "Tough Luck" (2013), "Opaque" (2013), and "Possessed" (2014). Their second studio album, Ullages (2016), was released subsequently. Following a tour that included performances in Europe and Asia, Eagulls became inactive around 2018. In 2021, Mitchell confirmed a departure from the band to pursue new projects. Other notable releases include the Eagulls EP (2012) and the single "Nerve Endings" (2013).
