Dutchavelli (real name Stephan Allen) is a British rapper and songwriter known for his deep, commanding voice and raw, street-centric lyricism. Born in Birmingham on 11 November 1993 and raised in East London—also having spent some time as a young child in Rotterdam—Dutchavelli emerged onto the UK rap scene with a powerful presence, blending drill, grime, and UK rap influences into a distinctive sound. He gained widespread recognition in 2020 with breakout singles like “Only If You Knew”, "Bando Diaries", and collaborations with artists such as Stormzy, M1llionz, and Tion Wayne. Releasing his debut mixtape Dutch from the 5th in 2020, his music often reflects themes of struggle, resilience, and redemption, drawing from personal experiences, including time spent in prison. Dutchavelli is not only known for his hard-hitting bars and authentic storytelling but also for his influence on the evolving landscape of UK drill and rap. Despite facing controversy and challenges throughout his career, he continues to build a loyal fanbase and remains a significant figure in the UK urban music scene, also notably as the brother of fellow UK rapstar Stefflon Don. In 2024, he dropped a collaborative single with Nine Yard titled "Fly High".
