DuMonde

DuMonde was founded in 1997 by Jürgen Mutschall, a.k.a. JAMX, and Dominik de León, a.k.a. De Leon, in Germany. The duo entered the trance scene with the single "Tomorrow"0 in 1998, which later reached the UK Singles Chart at number 6 in 2001 and helped establish them within Europe’s burgeoning trance culture. In 2004 they released the singles "Cold" and "Kalt", followed by "Ich Will Raus / Let Me Out" (2004) and "Human" (2003), marking a period of prolific output. The trio of singles "See the Light" (1999), "Never Look Back" (2001), and "God Music" (2002) secured the UK Singles Chart position at number 36 for the former and contributed to high-profile remix work for acts such as Binary Finary, Sash!, Rank 1, and Alice Deejay. In 2007 DuMonde issued the compilation album A Decade 1997–2007, consolidating their presence in the genre. The duo disbanded in 2007 to pursue solo projects, but re-emerged in 2024 with the single "Sometimes" featuring D.Mand and Talla 2XLC, signalling a renewed collaboration. Throughout their career DuMonde maintained a consistent output of singles, remixes, and compilations, cementing their role in mainstream German trance until their 2024 return.
