Dr. Yaro

Dr. Yaro, real name Yaro, is a French singer of Comorian origin. He grew up in the 19ᵉ arrondissement of Paris and in Blanc-Mesnil (93). Passionate about music since childhood, he began his career under the pseudonym Yaro before adopting the stage name Dr. Yaro. In 2018, he and his cousin formed the duo Dr. Yaro & La Folie, blending pop, Afro and rap influences. Their unique musical style has led to them being spotted by artists such as Gims, Naza, Gradur and KeBlack. Their innovative use of artificial intelligence to create unique versions of their tracks, imitating the voices of great artists, is a testament to their willingness to push the boundaries of musical creativity, and gives them a high profile on social networks. In 2024, Dr. Yaro embarked on a solo career, releasing the single"Minimum ça", which was a runaway success, quickly reaching the top singles chart in France. In January 2025, he followed this up with"Simba", which reached the Top 111 on the Shazam chart.
