Domenique Dumont

Domenique Dumont is a Latvian musical group formed in 2013 by multi-instrumentalist Arturs Liepins and vocalist ethnomusicologist Anete Stuce. Their debut album Comme Ça was released by Antinote in June 2015, followed by the single "Le Soleil Dans Le Monde" which gained attention for its ultra-low BPM soundscape. In October 2018, they released their second album Miniatures De Auto Rhythm. In 2019, Dumont composed a soundtrack for the silent film Menschen am Sonntag, performed at Les Arcs Film Festival and later released as People On Sunday in November 2020. The group has performed at various festivals including Villette Sonique and Le Point Éphémère in Paris, U.Percut in Marseille, Nuits Sonores in Lyon, Sinsal in Spain, and Milhões de Festa in Portugal.
