Domenic Marte

Domenic Marte (born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on 12 October 1983) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent. He began his career in 2004 with the bilingual bachata-pop single "Ven Tú", which peaked at number seven on Billboard Tropical Airplay and stayed on the chart for 34 weeks. He followed with the studio albums Intimamente (2004), Deseos de Amarte (2007), The Voice (2013), For the World (2015)—his first full English bachata album—and Al fin libre (2018). Notable tracks include "Muero De Celos" (number 4 on Tropical Airplay), "Como Quisiera" (Number 1 on Tropical Songs Airplay), and "In My Eyes" (Monitor Latino US Tropical Number 1 in 2020). In 2022, he released the album For You Vol. 1, featuring tracks like "Lo Se," "Dame Tu Amor," and "Me Enamore." He has earned nominations at Premio Lo Nuestro and Billboard Latin Music Awards and was the first US-based bachata artist to perform at Cuba’s Casa de la Música in 2023, also receiving the City Proclamation Award and a key to Lawrence in 2024. 2026 saw the release of the album For You Vol. 2.
