DJPEJOTA (real name Paulo Junio do Nascimento) is a Brazilian DJ/producer from the Belo Horizonte funk circuit who starts issuing tracks and sets online in the early-to-mid 2020s, pairing raw baile funk percussion with meme-ready hooks and call-and-response vocals. His profile begins to crystallize in 2023–2024 through short singles and scenes with MCs from Minas Gerais, then breaks wider in 2024 with “Rebola pro Brunão,” setting up a prolific 2025 run. On streaming, DJPEJOTA organizes his output into focused lanes (BAILE FUNK/TRAP/LIGHT and a joint catalog with MC HK DA 7), signalling an artist brand built around rapid, DJ-driven drops rather than long-form albums.
